Awww, I thought Jackie was brilliant, especially in this series. Jackie Tyler always was as irritating as crushed glass in your underwear. Although she had one over the cybermen. Well they`d have been stumped when they opened her head to put her brain into a cybersuit. I thought Jackie added some nice touches of humour to the show, some wonderful one-liners that fitted in with unlike some of the other forced comedy of the series. Camile Coduri has wonderful comic timing and a knack for the emotional stuff as well, especially some of her scenes in 'Love & Monsters' and during 'World War Three'

Fantastic ending. Loved it!
I shall miss Rose, Jackie (yes, I liked Jackie) and Mickey.
Small niggle though...
If the Genesis Ark was like a TARDIS surely, the Daleks that were inside it shouldn't have been affected at the end.

so uh, did Jackie die? Did Rose die? Did Mickey die? Did his friend die? SPOILERS BELOW FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NOT SEEN THE EPISODE:- - - - - Jackie, Rose, Mickey and Pete (who turned up at the start of the episode) all survived and went to live in the parallel dimension where Rose is now a member of Torchwood and Jackie and Pete are an item (in fact Jackie is pregnant). The Doctor sent Jackie, Mickey and Pete there because having travelled through the void, either in the TARDIS or between dimensions they were all vulnerable to being sucked back into the void the Cybermen and Daleks came from when he opened it to suck them back through again and save Earth. Rose ended up there because she was holding onto one of the levers in order to keep the void open but then slipped and let go. Instead of being sucked into the void Pete zapped back and caught her before taking her back to his dimension. As for Mickey's friend Jake I'm not too sure but I think he went back to his own dimension as well, along with the rest of the soldiers who came through to our dimension with him when he arrived to fight the Cybermen. Also it might be worth noting that the head Dalek was never actually sucked into the void, he teleported away just in time so possibly the Daleks shall return again for series three. - - - - - SPOILERS END

"THIS IS NOT WAR, THIS IS PEST CONTROL!!!"Oh! Classic line! ;D I thought that whole conversation was classic, tacky to begin with but when I re-watched it I thought it was brilliant.

Are you guys insane this was almost as bad as Love And Monsters. So incredibly badly written. The daleks and cybermen were dealt with as easily as me posting this now. The dramatic ending was non-exsistenet and we don't care about Alternate Pete and Jackie. Jackie is the worst character Doctor Who ever came up with and I only kept watching this because I thought she might die. Thank God Series 32 is over before it trounced up any more rubbish. All of above is IMO.

If there is one thing that can be said about you Davisonera, it is that you are very opinionated! Which isn't a bad thing. Though you do seem to dismiss quite a lot of the new episodes as rubbish. I am certain that if you were in control we would have seen quite a different season of episodes.

I'll take that as a compliment Icewarrior, I think.

Granted you're allowed to express your opinion, but I think that is nearly going overboard- I would never dream of calling someone insane, mad or otherwise just because they disagree with me. JLD P.S. In my opinion, like icewarrior said think you're quick to dismiss anything that comes along. Anyway not everything RTD writes is utter rubbish.

Everones entitles to their opinion John Lumic-Davros, even if its wrong lol. Honestly though I was very impressed at this episode. The Dalek supreme`s speech to the cybermen was brilliant ( " You do one thing better than Daleks, you die better" ) I half expected the genesis ark to be something like the genesis device from Star trek and to end up with them bringing back the time lords. Thank God they didn`t. I don`t think it would have worked. They kept you guessing on whether rose would die or not.

Why would the Daleks bring back the Time Lords anyway?

I think Daleks resurrecting Time Lords would be a bit undignified for BOTH parties concerned in my opinion.

Thanks. This sounds so awful. I like Jackie though! And Mickey. So DID JAKE LIVE?

Thanks. Also :I know the CM in the early series were emotionless but I always thought the best thing about them was that they were so hypocritical. They claimed in later stories to be emotionaless but they ranted and raved much more than they should have and seemed to get angry, give orders by shoiuting, etc. I liked them that way much more.
