Either that or she dies and is then revived somehow?

Im begining to think that this could be the case....maybe having looked into the heart of the tardis in the parting of the ways she has taken on some of the characteristics of a Time Lord....maybe she can regenerate

This is pure speculation, but:
in the teasers which are appearing each day in the lead up to the final episode. Wednesday's teaser concentrates on protecting 'The Genesis Arc'. Could they being saying they are trying to protect the timeline which leads to 'Genesis of the Daleks'?... Just a random thought.

Could they being saying they are trying to protect the timeline which leads to 'Genesis of the Daleks'?... Just a random thought. My own take on that was that being an ark it would be carrying something, possibly more Dalek DNA or some life-form. In one teaser they are apparently talking of the Emperor so maybe it's the DNA of their new leader they have brought to Earth for some reason. Alternatively they also state that the genesis ark is 'primed' which indicates it is some sort of weapon. Maybe some kind of genocide bomb or a terraformer for them to convert Earth into their new homeworld. So many theories, only one way to find out the true answers...roll on Saturday ;D

Yes there are many theories. I would put my money on your ideas rather than my own.

Perhaps the 'Genesis Ark' could be a device carrying and entire Dalek army inside, you know like a TARDIS. What I mean is that the contents could be Dalek embryos and that when the time's right they're going to deploy them. Just another theory...

This is beginning to sound like Indiana Jones. Is Harrison Ford making a cameo?

Well I've just seen the episode and I thought it was wonderful; very tense and unpredictable, never too sure which way things are going to go. Rose's farewell was very well done, genuinely touching and my only gripe about the episode would be the little twist at the end in the closing seconds, it seemed to ruin the mood for me.
So on the whole despite the last few seconds I'd say a triumphant ending.

So, the Genesis Ark, it DOES contain Daleks! A superb episode- 5 Stars! Shame about the "cliffhanger ending" though but I didn't let that put a damper on my day. On the bright side: No more Jackie Tyler! ;D

Sigh, they'll sign on ANYONE thes days... Dammit you`re a jinx. What in the name of the wee man is with them giving that talentless Catherine Tate a part. I mean they`ll end up pushing other talentless shows and dilute their own in the process. Women ain`t funny. No ifs buts ors or ands. And using a show thats doing well to promote someone the Beeb foolishly signed and discovered wasn`t worth it. Sorry I`m ranting . Ok the show was great, I had half expected them to have the daleks and cybermen side by side but this worked even better. I loved the Dalek Supreme putting down the cybermen. See? Even the daleks supreme`s funnier than Catherine Tate, give him a show dammit. And the swerved us with Rose dying right up to the end. I don`t think many people expected her to live, I`m betting most thought that when she went back through the rift that she was worm food. I like that Rose told the doctor she loved him and he didn`t get the chance to tell her he loved her. Don`t get me wrong I don`t like all the romance and don`t want the series turning into a douche show, but the chemistry between them and all that, the scene was handled right.

Although she had one over the cybermen. Well they`d have been stumped when they opened her head to put her brain into a cybersuit.

As I understand it before she turned to comedy Catherine Tate was actually quite a renowned actress of great diversity so don't dismiss her yet; everyone dismissed Billie Piper to begin with and look how she turned out...brilliant.
Oh and in case anyone was wondering, the actual name of the bride Catherine plays is Donna, it was revealed by RTD in the podcast commentary.
