(January 2) Just finished watching an animated version of Shada. (BBC website, not YouTube) If Shada, which is a Time Lord prison planet, was still around during the Time War, would the Time Lords have drafted the prisoners to fight? If not, and it wasn't destroyed, then there could still be surviving Time Lords there. Hmmm. Any thoughts? (January 5) Easier to understand with the missing scenes added. www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/classic/webcasts/shada/

Everything about the Ninth Doctor's universe makes absolutely no sense. If this is the same Doctor, his age is wrong, the Time War is wrong, and if indeed this is ongoing DW that has anything to do with the novels or audios, then the Doctor would have committed genocide on his own people twice. Think about that. Twice. I don't buy it.

I agee, there are several things wrong with how the universe of the Ninth Doctor was created. He should be well over 1000. The TV Movie US announcement back in '96 said he and the Master had been rivals for over a 1000 years after all, and it just doesn't make sense that continuity is so skewered with regards to events in earlier made books, comic strips and audios.

At least it wasn't Moffhack that screwed up our interest from 2005 onwards, he only destroyed it in 2010 and beyond! JB
