Where the Waters Meet: Season 7, Episode 6, Not bad the plotline of Jamie and Claire helping civilians flee Ticonderoga after the fort falls into British hands; Pretty good in the 20th century of Roger visiting a school and what he says to the kids there. Quite surprising that this episode ends with Roger discovering who the Nuckelavee is and it is Buck MacKenzie from the 18th century!

A Practical Guide for Time-Travelers: Season 7, Episode 7. Roger and Bree deals with Buck MacKenzie in the 20th century. Roger finds out from the family tree and MacKenzie revealing what the year was for him when he came to the 20th century that it says that the latter had died in the same year he came into the 20th century. It could mean that as far as history is concerned he died in that year and was not destined to come back to his time meaning he is stuck in the 20th century. I was surprised that when MacKenzie watched TV with the kids the show that was on was Blake’s 7 although Jemmy misidentifies Avon (Paul Darrow) who shows up on the TV as Blake (Gareth Thomas). Also on the TV is Cally (Jan Chappell) meaning that this would be an episode from the third season and I am not able to identify which episode it is as I haven’t seen Blake’s 7 in a long while and no such info on this is on IMDb. However given the title of this Outlander episode in reference to MacKenzie surely it would have been much more appropriate for Blake’s 7 fellow BBC stablemate Doctor Who to be on the TV. Or is it enough that Outlander was inspired by Doctor Who’s Jamie and even the actor who played him Frazer Hines turned up in the series in 1.15 Wentworth Prison. Meanwhile in the 18th century things sure looked harrowing at the First Battle of Saratoga.

Turning Points: Mid-season 7 finale. Certainly turning points here with the fight at the Second Battle of Saratoga and what a decision that Roger and Bree had to make here.
