Am I the only one who would prefer the series without the 'Next Time' trailers spoiling next weeks episode.

No you're not not, I don't like the 'Next Time' trailers either.

I like them, problem is they give away just a little bit too much info.

Why can't we just go back to not using them? I have a hunch that if viewers are left completely in the dark as to what happens next, more might tune in the next week to see the resolution of the cliffhanger. Just a hunch.

Yes but on cliffhanger stories the trailer is put on at the end of the credits, so you don't have to watch it. I rather like the next time trailers myself, I like the fact you get to see a taster of what's to come next week, and they can be really effective; such as the trailer at the end of 'Fear Her'.

I'd have though the programme interval trailers would've been enough...

I'd have though the programme interval trailers would've been enough... True but I don't watch much TV outside of certain programmes like Doctor Who etc (at least not terrestrial tv anyway) so I don't really see them. I suppose I could watch them on the Internet but that's not quite the same in my opinion. My solution would be to just put them all at the end of the credits for the preceding episode, that way those who don't like to see them can switch off before they come on.

Interestingly the trailer for 'Age of Steel' (made by the station showing the series here in Australia) is being a tease by saying "This is how 'Rise of the Cybermen' finished (showing the surrender), you will have to wait until Saturday to see how it concludes" showing just a black screen with green writing.
So for this episode at least they are taking the angle of not showing anything and being a tease compared to every other week which has shown footage of the episode.

You just wait until they broadcast 'The Impossible Planet' and 'Army of Ghosts', Doctor who is no longer an over revealing teaser free zone... I just wish they'd drop them.

What I meant wasn't that they appear before the credits it's that they appear outright. If you see what I mean.

Some of us rather like to watch the end credits (it's the theme tune that does it for me! ;D) and so we (not all of us) just don't want "spoilers", ahem, popping up you see.
Plus at my house the television is stuck on BBC One! ;D That's until it's repaired of course, tomorrow.
