Things I'd like to see in the new series? To be facetious, a good story would be a good start
I'd like to see a better explanation of the "time war" and the loss of Gallifrey. I'm a bit boggled by how the Doctor could be the only one left wandering around in time and space. The time war seems to have killed the Time Lords retroactively, but somehow spared the doctor and his stolen capsule. I like how the doctor is better "exiled" than he used to be, and a little more mysterious, but perhaps they could have explained this better.
I'd like to see the Doctor more respected and less "hystrerical" - when he yells at people to get thier attention he looks like an idiot.
I would have liked to have seen a more substantive link to the past with Sarah Jane and K9. One of my favorite doctors/companions was Sylvester McCoy and Ace - I'd love to know what happened to Ace. A story about her and McCoy might be good.
I would not like to see the blond Baker return - he was my least favorite Doctor
I'd like to see a story centred more in the TARDIS. For example, some explanation of the change to the interior, or having them wander through something resembling the old white rooms would be fun.
I'd like to see the doctor fix the chameleon circuit. He seems to have finally figured out how to pilot the TARDIS on a dime (except when for convenient plot lines that have him mess it up), it would be fun to have the thing finally disguise itself. I do kind of miss the fact that in the old series, the doctor could never quite get it to work, or was too absent-minded seemingly to get it to go the right direction

If the production team were to get rid of the sonic screwdriver I'd stop watching the show until they brought it back.
If the production team were to change the shape of the TARDIS I'd stop watching the show altogether.
What reason would YOU stop watching the show for?

If the production team were to get rid of the sonic screwdriver I'd stop watching the show until they brought it back. Did you stop watching when the Terrileptil's destroyed the sonic screwdriver in The Visitation? For many a year we didn't have a sonic screwdriver. Although not quite as bad, Colin Baker's Doctor fixed the chameleon circuit (Attack of the Cybermen I think). That didn't last long though thankfully. If it all went pear-shaped with plots, character and so forth. Even the dodgey Colin Baker and McCoy stories weren't enough to damper my love of Dr Who.

Davisonera: Should you be asking someone's age?
Eryx: I wasn't asking for your age.

I wouldn't mind seeing colin baker return as a villian. I see him playing the valeyard though. I think he would be good at it.

Now heres something thats been in the back of my head since the show got brought back. Should we be fortunate enough to have the show continue to the relevant point, could we get an appearance of the Valeyard?
