I believe it's an original piece by Murray Gold - and as far as I know it doesn't have an official name. If you listen carefully it's a variation of the Ood song for freedom from 'Planet of the Ood'. With any luck it'll be on the Series 4 Soundtrack CD. Found part 5 of Planet of the Ood on YouTube. Very similar, maybe that's why I like the one in that clip so much. Beautiful song. Great music.

Looked for "Murray Gold" in iTunes. I found some DW music, so maybe that music will eventually become available. Here's hoping.

Wow what an end to this season. A very sad journey's end for Donna Noble.

Right from the moment Eve Myles started playing Gwen in Torchwood, there was speculation about whether there was any connection between Gwyneth and Gwen as a result of Eve having played both characters. In an interview with DWM Russell T Davies denied there was any link between Gwyneth and Gwen saying they are common Welsh names.
In Journey's End however Davies finally provided familial link between Gwyneth and Gwen.
In the DVD commentary Russell T Davies said he established a familial link between Gwyneth and Gwen because the Doctor had seen someone familiar in Gwen and that had to be recognised.
Camille Coduri and Georgia Moffett were both in Journey's End but did not appear together as Georgia only appeared via a clip from The Doctor's Daughter. Camille and Georgia however did appear together earlier in The Last Detective (starring Georgia's father Peter Davison) episode Once Upon A Time on the Westway in which Camille and Georgia played mother and daughter. Georgia's character in The Last Detective was Tanya which incidentally is also the name of her character in her father's Big Finish story Red Dawn.

dumb, stupid, idiotic waste of time. The only so so part is the part about the Doc making killers. So much wrong with it I don't know where to begin. Sarah just...gives up. Jackie leaves the woman to die. Rose's ending is just...as even Billie says, WRONG. Feels so wrong. Th Earth moves through space as if it were a ball and no ill effects on Earth or the peopple. Just stupid. Oh and Face of Boe is Jack. Dumb dumb dumb and sad really.

Due to having recently bought The Daleks DVD release from 2015 which has a selection of NuWho Dalek episodes I got to revisit Journey's End, which is included here, this way and when the Doctor and Sarah Jane parted ways, she said she had to get home to her son Luke saying he is only 14. Seeing this now it sure felt prophetic the number 14 being said to David Tennant due to a certain significance of it to him from the end of The Power of the Doctor this year 2022.
