I keep picturing the old Doctor Midget from LAST OF ATHE TIME LORDS with River Song as husband and wife!

Anyhow i suspect river will be a parrt time companion who won't always travel with the doctor but pops up now and again or at least thats what i think.

I didn't like the actress that played River Song. She lacked charm, in my opinion, so I wouldn't want to see her again.

The thing I don't get is how she recognised the Doctor. Unless there's a whole load of Tenth Doctor adventures in a different universe/ timeline he's never going to be old enough for her to do that 'how young you are' stuff, so she must have met him as a different incarnation.

Why can't it be an 'Older' Tennant with River? Why would it have to be either a different incarnation or a different universe/timeline? In Partners in Crime, Donna tells the Doctor he looks older compared to when she last saw him in The Runaway Bride... |

Well she might have thought he looked older but I don't, so unless he's going to do some serious ageing over the next three specials I can't see where River Song is coming from. Maybe he gets to wear Bill Hartnell's wig.
