'The Evil of the Daleks' is a classic story with now six episodes out of seven missing. This in my opinion is Troughton's best story and the best Doctor Who story of the 1960's. If you ask me a story this good didn't pop up until three years later with 'Inferno' but that's another story.
As a TV Story 'The Evil of the Daleks' was well cast, directed and written, this was Troughton's era at it's peak. The story can be viewed as a Photo Novel on the BBC website, which gives us a glimpse of what it might have looked like. This story truly does have to be a classic.
Your call...

I agree that it is such a shame the majority of this story has been lost from the archives, it is indeed a fine story, a little too jokey in some places for me (i.e. the Daleks playing trains) but other than that it's wonderful. I should think the only benefit of it being lost is that you get to listen to it on audio, which can be very creepy indeed. Much rather be able to watch i in it's entirety though

Daleks playing trains? At the end of one episode (I think it's episode five but I might be wrong). The Daleks are injected with what they term the 'human factor' and they digress to being children, rolling around playing a game pretending to be trains.

You can order it from book shops if they don't have it in stock. Or you could buy it over the internet
