'The War Games' for me, a true classic. Many say it goes on too long but I love every minute of it, perfect for those rainy winter evenings.

'The Tomb of the Cybermen' simply because it was the first 2nd Doctor and first Cybermen story I ever saw!

I voted The Tomb Of The Cybermen. The War Games and The Mind Robber are good too and so were a few of the ones only left on audio and in print but I'm not including them.

I liked 'The War Games' such a lot, but for me it was pipped to the post by 'The Evil Of The Daleks'.

I haven't actually watched 'The Evil of the Daleks' but instead saw it as a photo novel at the BBC Website. From what I saw there it's a pure classic. Now how about a photo novel for 'The Invasion'?

My vote goes for "The Power of the Daleks". Ok the colonist humans are ratty in a Blakes 7 style, all at each others' throats, but I love the oddball, mysterious Doctor - who is he? what is he? where's the old one? - and how clever he is, never giving much away, not even to his two companions. Ben and Polly were a favourite pairing, since Ian and Barbara; Polly especially is a very likeable character. Best of all are the crafty Daleks and the way they are built up over the episodes: dormant, one active, three active, a whole production factory of them, lying-in-wait, and finally their blistering assault on the poor old colonists, murdering nearly the lot of them!
Which reminds me, has the 10th Doctor gone a bit Harry Potter lately? He waves a magic wand (well, a sonic screwdriver), and hordes of Daleks/Cybermen/whatever, simply fade away into thin air ... bet the scientists in the audience aren't happy, with that!

There are over 10,000 reasons why you should vote 'The Evil of the Daleks'... It's just that I can't think of them right now.
