I went for 'The Tenth Planet', a wonderful story with a superb introduction to the Cybermen. Sadly Hartnell is absent for some time during the story but when he is present he is pure gold.

As I have only seen the stories with every episode intact, I have reserved my judgement and chosen; 'Can't decide' because I do not know the joys of the stories such as 'Marco Polo' or 'The Tenth Planet'.

So, what's your favourite 1st Doctor Story? I've not seen a lot of the original Hartnell stories, but for me it has to be The Daleks. I was never too keen on the historical ones for some reason.

I have voted for 'The Myth Makers'.
I listened to it recently on audio and found it refreshingly funny, a story that didn't take itself in the least bit seriously and was all the better for it. Proof that a historical story can be interesting, and for all the wrong reasons! ;D

I voted for Marco Polo even though I've only read the novelization. The First Doctor is probably my leat favourite Doctor although I haven't seen all of the stories he's in.

Hmm, not as high a turn out as I would've liked. Maybe later.

I liked "The Dalek Invasion of Earth" but I had to go with "The Time Meddler". I cracked up laughing at the very end, it's priceless!
