Did anyone buy this book, originally released on the programme's fortieth anniversary? It was re-released last year, updated to include the first series of the new run.

It's a lavish book to say the least but I would have preferred it if we were given actually synopses rather than just snippets from information sources (mind you that's going from the original release, I haven't read the new edition so they might have changed it).

What did everyone else think?

If you could touch the alien sand or hear the cries of strange birds and watch them wheel in another sky...would that satisfy you?

My family owns 'The Legend' without the 9th/10th Doctor Info.

However I have seen the up-dated version in a shop and personally I think they shouldn't have released it when they did. They should have released it when things quietened down a bit (with the most recent up-to-date info)

Also, I think they should have released it as a Doctor per book, which would allow for a slight expansion on the novels.
