Matrix was a seductive mix of Talons of Weng-Chiang, The Ultimate Foe, The Deadly Assassin and Survival. It wasn't as good as any of those... well, better than TUF, I guess - but it was crackingly wonderful, full of atmosphere and the twist of the identity of Jack the Ripper took my breath away.
The story is best for its treatment of Ace - the horror she goes through and how she relates to it... fitting with the character and really sweet.
Could have been far better though. I also like Bullet Time, a LOT but it ignored K-9 so I can't ever love it as much as Matrix.
-Jeremiah Ecks, who supposes K-9 would have sucked in BT but why couldn't Sarah have at least mentioned him?
