Does anyone know the official status of the PDA line? I know there are no publications listed for the last half of this year, and they are not currently accepting new submissions, but I haven't seen an official announcement from BBC books.

I don't believe there's been any official announcement, but as you say nothing is planned for 2006, and I've heard that 2007 might well be reprints of old stuff only. The PDAs seem to be on hiatus for the time being.

I was wondering why there hadn't been any new PDA's for sometime. They could be about to start reprinting NA's.

We all know what it means when things in the Doctor Who world are on "hiatus." Be prepaired for a long wait.

I think the BBC should start publishing more PDAs. I wonder how you can write one?

The PDA's are indeed in hiatus at the moment. To write one all you have to do is send a manuscript in to BBC Books and then Justin Richards will get back to you, well supposedly, and tell you either that it's totally rubbish or that he wants to print it. Completely irrelevant at the mo though.

Shame, really. Some of them are really good and there's a lot of writers in the TV and audio series who got their Who break this way.
