Released for Doctor Who Day 2020, this is a professional-cast, unlicenced and non-profit reimagining of the lost pilot of an intended radio series in which Peter Cushing reprised Dr Who. The pilot was never broadcast and it never became a series as the pilot was rejected by the BBC. Journey into Time was written by Malcolm Hulke and it had been intended to broadcast in 1967 the same year made his TV series debut with The Faceless Ones. The remake is based on the Hulke script that was found. For the Journey into Time remake Dr Who is played by Cliff Chapman and Susan by Colleen Prendergast. Interesting story with Dr Who and Susan having arrived in 20th century Earth and Susan deciding to go to school. Unlike An Unearthly Child in which there was only brief glimpses of what Susan was like as a student, Journey into Time presents more of Susan as a student and how she hasn't impressed everyone. It was especially a cruel joke that Susan was tricked into. I immediately knew who the Inspector was played by. Thinking on it now it is perhaps not surprising that this ends on a cliffhanger no doubt mirroring the early days of the TV series in which one episode immediately leads to the next. As the Hulke script is the only script available from the intended radio series it nevertheless would have been interesting to have known how this cliffhanger been resolved.

Journey into Time (2012): beermatproductions.wordpress.com/2012/05/22/doctor-who-journey-into-time/?fbclid=IwAR2nDOLjjmStiniaU42CnH5PmIih8kEQUsTUIJSlzVj2Mxdo2ofoNCqcdzs
This is the 2012 remake of Journey into Time, the lost pilot of the proposed Dr Who radio series. Came across this after earlier coming across the 2020 remake. For the 2012 remake it is made by Bandril Productions and Dr Who is played here by Jim Moon. Having earlier listened to the 2020 remake, I knew what to expect from the 2012 remake but nevertheless still enjoyed it.
