Just finished the first story ARIES: The True and Indisputable Facts in the Case of the Ram’s Skull by Mark Michalowski featuring 1st Doctor, Ian and Barbara.
It was very good that Michalowski kept Edgar Allen Poe's identity hidden until the end and it is quite fitting for it to be one of Poe's stories.

TAURUS: Growing Higher: Written by Paul Leonard featuring the Eighth Doctor and Fitz. This story about a man about to face trial, I did not really enjoy at all. I am not very satisfied with its conclusion since it is against the Doctor's character.

GEMINI: Twin Piques: Written by Tony Keetch featuring the Second Doctor and Jamie. Quite good story of confusion as the Doctor and Jamie find themselves on a doppelganger from the one they just visited hence the story's name. Nothing spectacular happens just a good sideways adventure.
Coincidentally the Australian ABC last night showed The Age of Steel which featured a character called Gemini but apart from that, the episode had nothing in common with Twin Piques.

One story for each sign of the zodiac. Haven't read this book yet but I hope I get around to it one day!

Just finished with CANCER: Still Lives by Ian Potter featuring the Third Doctor, Liz and the Brigadier. I found this one to be very confusing and the Doctor hardly appears in it at all.

LEO: Constant Companion: Written by Simon A Forward featuring the Second Doctor, Jamie and Zoe. The Doctor, Jamie and Zoe finds a cat like creature and decides to adopt it and what ensues are moments of hilarity as the creature begins to overstay its welcome. Absolutely delightful.

VIRGO: Virgin Lands: Written by Sarah Groenewegen featuring the Seventh Doctor, Ace and Benny. This story was very grim but the way it was structured I was confused on what was really going on.

LIBRA: The Switching: Written by Simon Guerrier featuring the Third Doctor, Jo, UNIT and the Master. This story was a lot of fun although it was a bit confusing at the end. This story has Jo in a bikini. Too bad we didn't see this in the TV series.

SCORPIO: Jealous, Possessive: Written by Paul Magrs and it is a funny correspondence between the first two K-9s. Very funny and very enjoyable and finished it in time today on November 23 2006, the 43rd anniversary.

SAGITTARIUS: Five Card Draw: Written by Todd Green and this has the Fifth Doctor having a meeting with four of his other selves, the First, Second, Third and Sixth Doctors. At the end of the story it becomes clear why the Sixth Doctor had to be. I would have liked the Fourth Doctor to have been included and would prefer him over the Third. Anyway this was a fun little story.

CAPRICORN: I Was A Monster!!!: Written by Joseph Lidster and featured briefly the Fourth Doctor and Romana. This was a spooky story but confusing at the same time.

AQUARIUS: The Intertebrates of Doom: Written by Andrew Collins and featuring the Seventh Doctor and Mel. This was ok although quite an imagination for the story involving jellyfish.
