It is remarkable that I saw Alien: Covenant just before seeing Oxygen as I feel it has an Alien vibe to it. The episode begins with the Doctor saying space the final frontier and that it is final because it wants to kill us. Funny and I wonder what Star Trek fans have to say about that. Nevertheless it is remarkable to hear the Doctor saying that well known line from Star Trek. A good horror of an episode including when that spacesuit turned out to be headless before the revelation that it is a bodiless. One of the people the Doctor, Bill and Nardole meet on the station is a blue alien. Tegan Higginbotham in discussing the previous episode Knock Knock on Whovians said that she wanted her blue aliens back. So funny how she got her wish here on Oxygen which got noted in the discussion episode on Oxygen. However it was pointed out to me afterwards that Darren was not a blue alien but a blue human and in a video it was revealed to me that Darren is played by Peter Caulfield, similar in name to Peter Capaldi and appropriately enough is nicknamed Blue Peter! Horrifying that there is a price to Oxygen in this future. People are willing to make a buck out of anything even as something as inconceivable as oxygen. The Doctor goes blind and what a shock that the episode ends with the Doctor still being blind after he deceived his companions that his sight had been restored. More intriguing on who is in the Vault with Nardole expressing his concern on what would have happen if they hadn’t come back to attend to this person in the Vault. Thrilling look at the next episode Extremis especially with Missy at the end of it.

In Oxygen when the Doctor, Bill and Nardole were having a hug I thought Nardole said cuddle but the DVD subtitles has him saying "Glad, though".
However these subtitles got contradicted by Matt Lucas in the commentary who said that he did say cuddle in that scene.
Also in the commentary writer Jamie Mathieson described something in a Poirot-like manner.
Wonder if Mathieson had consciously remembered that Poirot himself David Suchet was in Knock Knock the episode that came before Oxygen.
