I was very very disappointed in this episode.Probably because it was written by you know who! And what's, exactly, wrong with the way Mark Gatiss writes?

i must admit this wasnt one of the strongest DW stories so far,but it did have that classic darkness and yes the betamax was spot on

I hated The Idiot's Lantern whats scary about some woman saying im hungry i just did'nt like it I thought the episode was OK. When the wire kept saying, "Hungry!" I was saying, "Oh, shut up already!"

If the doctor was a little more evil, then most enemies would go away instantly. With this episode, if he pulled out a pistol and shot the guy running the TV Store, problem solved!

Question: When the Doctor ran past the guards, Tommy asked who the guard thought the Doctor was. The Doctor looked at the psychic paper and said, "The King of Belgium, apparently." I though the Doctor was supposed to know what was on the psychic paper when he showed it to someone.

Even the Doctor can be a little absent minded and forget what he was thinking, or on the other hand he might've been doing it for effect.
