Demon Quest Part 3 - A Shard of Ice:
A Shard of Ice is the third part of the Demon Quest audio story arc.
This adventure featured just the Fourth Doctor and Mike Yates and Mrs Wibbsey makes a brief appearance at the end as a lead-up to the next episode Starfall.
Guest stars Samuel West who these days I have been seeing in his regular role in Mr Selfridge & Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell.
West plays a storyteller Albert Tiermann who comes to the attention of the Doctor when images of him are in a book that Albert had written. However upon meeting Albert it is a book he has not written yet.
Intriguing story revealing that Albert had been provided with his stories by the Ice Queen.
Also good in presenting how desperate of Albert in telling new stories even to the point of wanting to see the book he has not yet written to get these new ideas.
Pretty well done including what a menace the Ice Queen was.
