Fathers day was my favorite, although my Favorite scene from the first series is when the Doctor is arguing with the Daleks who threaten him with roses extermination. classic scene, nothing will top that!!!

Well, I chickened out and voted "all of the above", though The Empty Child is bloody genius. My wife's favorite is Father's Day -- she says the charaterizations in that one were excellent.

'The Empty Child'? 10/10 marks that's for sure! But I still prefer 'Genesis'.

But I still prefer 'Genesis'. Genesis? Huh? 'Genesis of the Daleks' Starring Tom Baker, broadcast in 1975. Does that help?

AH yes it does! I should have realised, considering your apparent love of all things TB era!

I'd vote for all of them except Long Game which I found tedious and dull.

It's a pity you can't do multiple choice on these polls.

Dalek was the best episode of Season 1. Eccleston really shows his range as an actor in this one. It is fun to see the Doctor lose his cool and let his feelings towards Daleks really come out.

I think it was good because we get to see a dalek actting abit like a human out of it's own free will, makes you think maybe their not all evil.

I agree. I actually felt sorry for the Dalek in this one. It was interesting that the Dalek was forced to question the meaning of his existence for the first time. Also, you see how much the Dalek and the Doctor have in common now, both the sole survivors of their respective races and of the same war. They are united in their mutual hatred of eachother as well, the Doctor almost becomes like a Dalek himself.

'Dalek', in my opinion, is a good episode to get one thinking, it certainly got me thinking.
