I think that Paul McGann's Doctor should return in the new series somewhen for a multi-Doctor story. Agreed.

I have a nickname for the 8th Doctor: "The Underexposed Doctor". That just about sums it up don't you think (I'm not counting he audios here)?

Bizarrely he's got more stories (TV, comic, novels, audio and Short Trips) than any other Doctor which ought to make him the overexposed Doctor. Now, can someone explain how the comix, audios and novels fit together? Take your time, I've been waiting to hear this for years. And how do the new BF/BBC 7 radio plays tie into the picture?

6/10. He wasnt as bad as Colin Baker, but he played The Doctor in a strange way.

dunno why i am saying this, but the 8th doctor books were far better than the complete doctor who tv shows itself... the stories were just amazing... 8th doctor is the best doctor i know!!

There is a bit of almost primal excitement for me when I get a new 8th Dr. novel or comic or audio as he is still the recent incarnation, for me, dspite the three who came in the 2005 -plus series.I would dearly love to have McGann turn up proper in another TV story, maybe for the big anniversary in 2013. But Mcgann has stated in an interview conducted last summer, he has heard nothing from the BBC so I don't know.
