Released by Big Finish in November 2002, The Nicholas Courtney Memoirs: A Soldier In Time in which the late Brigadier actor Nicholas Courtney (who died in 2011) composes this memoir in audio form. It is a very fascinating account from Courtney on his life and his career which included of course Doctor Who. The highlight of his Doctor Who anecdotes is when he recalled being invited along with Ian Marter (Harry) by a group of St Louis Doctor Who fans who called themselves the Celestial Intervention Agency. When he and Marter arrived in St Louis they were asked at the airport by a custom official for what purpose for their visit to St Louis. Marter then replied that they are here on pleasure and working with the CIA! The Nicholas Courtney Memoirs: A Soldier In Time is a superb memoir from Courtney and a reminder what a great loss he was to Whovians when he passed away in 2011.
