Whilst posting the obituary of fellow Doctor Who guest star Barry Jackson at a forum that I discovered that Joann Kenny died back in 2010.
Born in 1971, Joann Kenny appeared in Doctor Who in The Curse of Fenric playing Jean.
According to IMDb, The Curse of Fenric was her last role in a brief acting career.
Prior to appearing in The Curse of Fenric, she had a regular role in Grange Hill.
Although she died in 2010 at the age of 41, her family did make her death known to the wider public until a few months ago.
