Well, I don't know about anyone else but in my view this has to be the best Doctor Who story ever broadcast! 5 Star Platinum is what this story gets from me!

I'll agree with everyone else and give it 5 out of 5. I watched the whole thing at once. A very dark episode. Great atmosphere.

One thing I want to say is: you've got to admire Peter Miles' performance a Nyder, Davros' lackey.

5/5 from me.
One of the best Dalek stories ever made. Davros is just pure evil its not even funny. Although, in this story the doctor had an opertunity to destroy the daleks for good. I bet now he was wishing he'd taken that option.

When this story was broadcast, Mary Whitehouse, a self-appointed moral watchdog of TV who didn't speak for everyone, began her campaign of attacks on the show's content. Conclusive proof that Phillip Hinchcliffe was doing something right in my opinion, as were the writers. ;D

Gave it a 5. As the 9th doctor would say: "Fantastic!" One thing I that drives me nuts is how the Daleks repeat the same phrase over and over. Like when they're surrounding Romana they keep saying, "Do not move!" about a half a dozen times. Man, that's annoying! I want to say, "Shut up, she heard you the first time!" Do they think everyone's hard of hearing? ;D Sheesh!

I didn't really get them mixed up. I rated "Genesis" then went off describing a scene from another Dalek episode. I guess I should have written: For example, when they were surrounding Romana in "Destiny of the Daleks"... By the way, while I was watching "Destiny...", I realized my signature at the bottom is part of that episode. ;D

If possible I would've actually said 6 stars. Wasn't an option though.

One of the best of Tom Baker. I like the way it goes into the origin of the Daleks.I would give it 5.
