Imagine the excitement that would be generated if Tom Baker were to reprise his role as the 4th doctor in some future "Two Doctor" story.
Surely there should be a Whovian campaign gathering pace towards this end? If not does anyone else fancy starting a band wagon rolling?
By the way, is it okay to put the same post in a couple of sections? Please let me know if I am falling fowl of forum etiquette.

I know most of you would love to see Tom again you've got to realise that he doesn't actually want to be remembered just as Doctor Who. He's left it behind. Not only that he looks like and old granny.

Not only that he looks like and old granny. Indeed. He has mentioned that if he were written a different part in the series in one story and he liked the script he would consider it but he won't become the Doctor again, just as he won't reprise the role for the Big Finish audios.

I think Tom Baker returning to reprise his former role in Doctor Who would a marvellous idea, but as davisonera said he is getting on a bit.
P.S. Did you know he owns his own tombstone? P.P.S. Did you also know that he said when he dies he wants his body to be varnished and put on display at a Doctor Who exhibition? (Oh by the way, you have to take that one with a pinch of salt.)

I think at this point he is too old for Doctor Who- his last chance was in The Five Doctors, but he turned that one down. Such a shame, really.

This may be why he's done so much commentary recently. Hes looking to get reinvolved in the series, and he knows he will always be known best as the 4th Doctor.
