Number 1, Gallows Gate Road is an online short story on the official Doctor Who BBC website as part of the 2008 Advent calender. Part 1: www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/s4/misc/advent08/december_04 Quite intriguing the Doctor wakes up in a house with him having no memory of him getting there. Cute the reference to the Doctor's experience with Marco Polo. Very mysterious on what is going on here. What a climatic cliffhanger at the end.

Part 2: www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/s4/misc/advent08/december_11 A very good conclusion to the story. The nature of the alien menace feels like the Weeping Angels from Blink. The following line from the Doctor: "They're really just squiggly waves of psychic force", is one line that I can imagine David Tennant actually saying. Quite surprised what the alien turned out to be even though it was staring me right in the face. The way the alien is defeated sure helped Robert to decide what he wants to be when he is grown up. A very nice ending to the story.
