I was wondering if the spiders could come back in the new Dr who is the anyway they could have lived?

The spiders were intended as one off villains and so they were wiped out first time round, so no I don't think they'll appear in the new series.
Meanwhile, I think Pertwee could've got a better send-off than this. Season 11 didn't exactly have all the best stories did it?

Although all of the spiders on Metabelis 3 were wiped out, the series could always use arachnids as adversaries again, just not from the same planet

A little proofreading might help.
Season 11... I liked Spiders, Time Warrior everyone likes... bits of Dinosaurs were nice, the parts involving the supposed spaceship... and things are pretty good whenever Sarah Jane is onscreen.

Time Warrior everyone likes... Actually I wasn't too keen on that one (so what, I don't like sontarans, full stop), even if it did feature Sarah Jane Smith.

It was the Metebelis crystals that changed the spiders-their return would be connected with the crystals.

You say that, but they keep bringing back old villians/monsters that were supposed to be wiped out. Season 3 Spoiler!! Although most of you probably already know this, I can now pretty much 100% say that the Master WILL be in series 3.

I would like the spiders to return, but he end of Planet of the Spiders had them returning to normal. Something would have to change for them to come back as they were.

Well, he simply goes back in time to before they returned to normal...

In the stories, Doctor Who never goes back to change events after they have happened. His companions asked him to travel back in time to save Adric and he refused to do it. It has something to do with Time Lord law.

Mmm, lots of similar elements in Primeval from Doctor Who. On the spiders; the Racnos from Christmas were pretty spider-like, dontcha think?
