Broadcasting update on SJA: For those who do not know, SJA began with the hour long Invasion of the Bane as the New Year special for 2007.
It was then followed by the first season which is made up of 10 half-hour episodes. These 10 episodes is divided into five 2-parters.
The Optus Guide for SJA's start date on Nickelodean on Friday October 31 has the programme scheduled for 7-8pm which takes into account the length of Invasion of the Bane.
However according to the November issue of Optus Magazine SJA is scheduled for each Friday in November from 7-7:50pm.
This means that Nickelodean is screening both episodes of a story on each Friday rather than as an individual episode per screening.

I had another look at the November issue of Optus Magazine - in addition to its Friday slot, it looks like the half hour episodes of The Sarah Jane Adventures will be shown individually on Nickelodean starting on Sunday November 3 6:30pm.
Interestingly the hour long first episode Invasion of the Bane is going to be shown as two half hour episodes.

A few hours ago The Sarah Jane Adventures finally made its Australian TV debut with its first episode Invasion of the Bane.
Having originally aired in the UK on January 1 2007, this is a gap of almost 22 months between its original UK and Australian broadcasts. This is the longest gap for a Whoniverse episode between its first UK and Australian broadcasts since the current Doctor Who TV series came along in 2005.

Check with the listings for Nickelodean again this time via the 'tv guide' button on the remote and it looks like all of Invasion of the Bane will be shown in the Sunday slot. It seems that Invasion of the Bane being scheduled in a half-hour slot was simply an error in the listings.

I have been informed by Aquaman at the DWCA forum that season 4 of The Sarah Jane Adventures will make its debut on Australian TV on Nickelodean on Friday December 3 7pm.
The new episodes will be on a weekly basis with older episodes being shown at the 7pm slot on Monday to Thursdays.
Just like parent Doctor Who on ABC1, Nickelodean has gotten into the act of fasttracking SJA as season 4 was recently shown in the UK between October 11 and November 16.
EDIT: A clarification of this at DoctorWhoNews.com is that both episodes of a season 4 story will be shown together back to back on the Friday slot.

Sarah Jane Adventures season 5 made its Australian TV debut on Nickelodean on Saturday March 17 6:30pm. However after showing the season opener Sky, SJA then disappeared from Nickelodean’s schedule.
Well Nickelodean is showing Sky again on Saturday May 26 6:30pm. Whether the subsequent two stories of the final season would be shown on the Saturday slot remains to be seen.
