4 Stars methinks. It got me interested every second, it's just that some of the costumes brought the score down a bit. However, it's still very good.

4 stars. A good story though putting together an old rocket to fly to the Moon with an untrained crew is unlikely even for the Doctor.

I've never seen this episode, so my opinion is soly based on the novel. I liked the story. The Ice Warriors are not my favorite monsters, but they are kinda intersting.

It was a good story. I saw it on both vhs and dvd. I especially liked the commentary on dvd. I am not sure it was able to sustain such a long story.

Gave it a 5. I think JLD (or The Thinker??) was unfair bringing it down because of costumes. Think of budgets.

Of course the budget was an excuse! SOMEBODY at the BBC didn't see the obvious potential, so the show ended up with bad costumes, and in the end, bad directors.

The budget ratios for today and then are surprisingly similar you might find. Inflation is a strange thing, just that new technologies allow the producers to do so much more today than back then.

Limited budgets didnt doom Doctor Who. It was very good for many years with limited budgets. It was the bad writing that killed the show.

That's true I have to say. I'm just surprised that 'The Twin Dilemma' didn't kill it off instantly! (Of course I am being cynical there)

Yet another delve into the complicated mind of The Thinker (I'm going to try to stop saying JLD).
