I was searching through the posts, and I didn't see anything that helped me answer my question. Hopefully you can give me an answer here.
In the first Episode, the Doctor has a granddaughter, or actual daughter depending on if I read the birth of the Doctor correctly.
What happened to her? I am surprised being a timelord offspring that she wouldn't be around for many later episodes and/or visited on a somewhat infrequent basis by him to give more details about her fate.
Thanks in advance.

Susan Foreman was was presented as the Doctor's granddaughter. She travels with him in the Tardis, along with Barbara and Ian, until the 1st Doctor serial The Dalek Invasion of Earh. She marries one of the resistance fighters, and the Doctor refuses to allow her entry to the Tardis. Susan Foreman is last seen in the Five Doctors, where she is temporarily reunited with her Grandfather, the Doctor. I am not sure whether she is his biological or adopted granddaughter. I dont foresee her becoming involved with the Doctor again' unfortunately.

Thanks so much. Have to get a hold of the 5 doctors episode to see if anything interesting is in it in regards to her. I think that she would have made a very interesting recurring plot device, or at least to get more information on his and her relation.

I would purchase The Beginning dvd box set, The Dalek Invasion of Earth dvd, and the first 10 stories or so are on vhs. I think the Five Doctors is on dvd, but I am not sure. If the Time Lords are still alive in the future , perhaps she will show up on the new series. ;D

Wait, the Dalek Invasion Of Earth? Hmmm.... So Susan can't have been sucked into the void! She was 400 years from then!

Unless she got hold of another Tardis and managed to make it back to Gallifrey in time for the destruction of Gallifrey.

I dont know how she could have gotten hold of another Tardis unless the Doctor did return for her and got her involved in the Time War. He has said in the new series he has no more family. I think at some point the new series should explain what happened to Susan. She was his grandaughter, and he made a promise to return for her. I am more interested in resolving this open question than I am about the Time Lords. There is no sign he ever returned for her, so how can the Doctor be the only Time Lord if Susan is still alive in the 23rd Century. Perhaps the staff can explain this discrepancy?

Or perhaps the Daleks hunted down every single last one!

The Daleks were in no shape to hunt down any Time Lords. The Doctor used used a weapon to destroy all their soldiers. Some of them escaped, but they hid for centuries.

Depending on which time zone they were destroyed in, though. Centuries, could end up with 1000s of years ago from now.

Perhaps the staff can explain what happened to the Time Lords who were not on Gallifrey and/or in other Time Zones like Susan?

Then again, as said all Time Lords were called for war, and we will never really know until they tell us about the time war. Which could be at the end of this series, looking at the episode titles.

I vaguely recall from reading through the episode guides on this site that there is one novel (8th Doctor, I think) where Susan does somehow get hold of a TARDIS and takes off into time & space. So depending on how you take the expanded Whoniverse, she could still be out there or maybe she returned home after all.
