Just a quick progress report.
I'm partway through a summary for The Veiled Leopard and should have it finished (work permitting) by mid September (including episode timings from the CD and trailer listings).
I vaguely recall reading somewhere that the story has a slight link to the New Worlds novel The Coming of the Queen which I own but haven't had time to read it yet.
If anyone here has read it, send my a message to let me know if they are linked or not, otherwise I'll just send Dom some revised notes if needed after I've read it.
I also received in the mail today the Doctor Who Storybook, so I'd like to volunteer to summarise and provide continuity placement notes for the stories in it.

I would like to offer my services to complete my first Guide Entry. I would like to do an entry on Nightshade by Mark Gatiss. (The most recent Ebook available from the DW BBC site. I realise it is probably not mainstream continuity, but still worthy of an entry yes?

My three books are scheduled to arrive on the 16th September as there's been a delay but I'll read one at a time and then review one at a time and hopefully they'll all be in reasonably soon.

Another quick update:
I've just about finished the synopsis for The Veiled Leopard; I just need to listen through one more time to check it's accurate and to see if there's any continuity notes that need mentioning.
With a bit of luck I'll be able to send it to Dominique this weekend.
After that I'll start on the Storybook.

Dominic, Do you want me to do Atom Bomb Blues (PDA)? I've mentioned this before but no response. It seems pretty straightforward and would only take a few days. Dominique isn't sure if it's being done already but thinks you already have some notes Cameron left. Let me know one way or another.
Cheers

Hi everyone - this is my first time posting on the messageboard, but I've been a devoted visitor to the main site for years.
I've just emailed Dominique with a draft version of a story I've done - only to discover from reading this board that someone is already working on it!
Never mind, it was good practice for me. I've got some spare time on my hands and I'd be delighted to offer my services to do any missing synopses. My preferences would be for any missing Big Finish CDs - not just the main Doctor Who series, but also Bernice Summerfield, Gallifrey, Cyberman, I, Davros etc. I can also do any of the BBV audios if that's what's wanted.
I can start work as soon as Dominique or any of the other hosts nominate a title that no one else has expressed interest in.

Hello and welcome to the forum. By the way, which story would this be?

Hi - I did a draft for The Veiled Leopard because at one stage this was on the list of outstanding stories. Unfortunately after I'd written it, I decided to visit the messageboard and found someone was already working on it. It seems only fair that the first person to volunteer should have the honour of getting theirs put up on the site, but I sent it in anyway so that Dominique can assess whether my style is suitable.
It was good to get some practice in first anyway, so I don't mind - but I'm raring to get to work on whatever title/s the governors still need submissions for.
I'm sure everyone's already said it, but this is a great site isn't it!

Hello Lee,
If you have emailed me, then I didn't received your mail. On the other hand, if you emailed Dominic Smith then he'll be in touch with you.
I am not sure what's currently being done since I have been a bit out of touch lately. Dominic is however up to date.

Below are a list of audios I believe need summarising, as far as I know none have been attempted. Dominique might have had offers already so maybe check with him and then have a go at one. Big FinishMonthly Audio ReleasesSingularity Other Lives Cryptobiosis Pier Pressure Night Thoughts Time Works The Kingmaker The Settling Something Inside Sarah Jane Spin-off AudiosBuried Secrets Snow Blind Fatal Consequences Dreamland Benny Summerfield Spin-off AudiosCrystal of Cantus The Goddess Quandary Cybermen Spin-off AudiosCybermen: Conversion Cybermen: Telos Gallifrey Spin-off AudiosGallifrey: Fractures Gallifrey: Warfare I hope that helps. A more updated list should be on the way soon, but thanks very much for the interest you have shown in contributing to the site, it is much appreciated. Thanks again, Dominic

OK, here's the updated list of releases we need synopses for. Those stricken trough with a line are currently being worked on. Hi everyone. I'm afraid I seem to be having problems sending emails to the links on this site. I have a new computer and I don't think it can be set up properly! I've just spent the last two hours trying to fix the problem, but I'm not sure it's sorted yet.
Instead I'm going to try sending a copy of my synopsis to my email address at work, and if that gets there OK then I'll forward it to you from there on Monday morning.
Thanks very much for posting an up-to-date list of outstanding stories. I'm going to start work tonight on Singularity (the oldest of the Big Finish regular CDs that are still missing) and I'll send that in as soon as it's completed.
I have one more question - at the risk of making a complete fool of myself, Dominic said "please send me a PM detailing which stories they are covering". What's a PM?

A PM is a personal message, like an e-mail but you send it directly here on the site. If you go to a person's personal screen where all of their information is held (age, location, etc.) There is a piece of text at the top of the screen that says 'send personal message' From there you can type a piece of correspondence and send it to that user. To view your own personal messages there should be a box at the top of each screen in the forum saying "you have xx messages, xx are new", followed by the date and time. Just click on where it says how many messages you have and it'll take you to the main personal message page. Hope that helps, sorry if it was just the abbreviation you needed to know Dominic
