I'd give this story 2 Stars. It's not the best but nor is it the worst in my opinion.

I have to agree about the 2 stars. From the DVD extras I learned that it was made like a stage play all in the Tardis and with the main characters only for budget reasons but in various moments I find a bit hard to understand what's happening. Maybe it would be a good story for the new series with special effects to show time distorsions but made that way I have to say that I didn't find it very convincing.

Actually I'd give it a 4. I love this story because it's so wonderfully sinister, although perhaps it has a somewhat anti-climactic ending I think it's fantastic.

A rather dull story IMO.

I assume you're the one who gave it 1 star?

I assume you're the one who gave it 1 star? Sorry, but yeah.

4/5 I've only seen snippets of this one, but if the novelisation is anything to go by, it is sinister yet simplistic in its premise. Yes, there are a few holes in the plot and the ending is quite weak, but it gets a 4 all the same.

I'm sitting here wondering why the Doctor didn't bother to check the 'Fast Return Switch' earlier on, but then again it wouldn't have been as good or interesting.

5/5 because it's so weird.
If Pinter (The Birthday Party) had done Who he'd have written this! I love it for it's very staginess, the deadpan deliveries at the beginning, the incredibly obscure "clues" given by the TARDIS, the melting clock, Susan and the scissors, Hartnell's paranoia, and his "I know, I know..." speech in episode 2.
It's weird, creepy and gripping!

I gave it 4 stars because it is so creepy, yet the plot isn't that good.

I rate EOD 5/5 because i thought it was a good turning point in the 1st season to get to know the characters a bit better.
