From the official site:
Doctor Who gets a new producer.
During the third series of Doctor Who, a new face will be joining the behind-the-scenes team responsible for bringing the adventures of our favourite Time Lord to our TV screens.
Susie Liggat will take over the role and responsibilities of Producer of Doctor Who for a few months while Phil Collinson takes a holiday. Executive Producers Julie Gardner and Russell T Davies will stay in their existing roles.
Susie brings a wealth of experience with her, having worked on movies as diverse as Beautiful Thing (1996) and The Magdalene Sisters (2002), and TV shows such as Teachers and Russell T Davies' Casanova.
We wish her all the best of luck in her new role, and hope that Phil enjoys his time off too!
Not a permanent change but interesting news nevertheless.
