Recently I listened to the DVD commentary Steven Moffat and Murray Gold. Quite enjoyable but a little disappointed that Moffat made no mention of his short story What I Did on My Christmas Holidays By Sally Sparrow which became the basis for Blink.
Also I saw (appropriately) the Easter Egg for Blink. For those who do not know it is on the 2007 season set on Disc 4. On Disc 4 it is on the last scene page for Blink and you will find it by highlighting the word Blink.

David Tennant gave the first hint of Blink in Totally Doctor Who 2.8 shown a couple of weeks before when he drew a face with the eyes shut. As Tennant says it would only make sense after seeing Blink.

The cutdown version of the Doctor Who Confidential to Blink, Do You Remember The First Time? looked very little into its aforementioned corresponding Doctor Who episode. Do You Remember The First Time? instead was about the experience in watching Doctor Who and the influence it had in some of the interviewees’ careers.
Well I finally saw the full version of Do You Remember The First Time? and there was more about the making of Blink which had Carey Mulligan (Sally) and Finlay Robertson (Larry) being interviewed by the Doctor himself David Tennant (who also directed this Confidential) as they talked about carrying the episode without Tennant’s involvement for most of it as well as showing the filming of the spooky house. Do You Remember The First Time? gives the viewer a tour of BBC Television Centre which was where “classic” Doctor Who was filmed and this feels complementary to the Tales of Television Centre documentary shown earlier this year 2012.

Saw a programme called Cats Do The Funniest Thing from 2015 and it is about cat videos. Here cat lover and comedian Susan Calman talked about the cat video that is based on Doctor Who: Blink and here it is: www.youtube.com/watch?v=HdbsUyEwxwc
