Oh this is the good stuff! Way better than last year's 'Love & Monsters', 5 Stars.

My favourite episode of the series so far, and a bloody good one to boot as well.

How come this was so good when Love and Monsters was so pants? I couldn't possibly list all the reasons without breaking the server somehow.

Loved it. Watched it about ten times already. Absolutely everything about it was right. Mind you I liked Love and Monsters, too (except the monster, sadly), so what do I know?

Voted great. OMG that was creepy! Especially the part when Sally left Larry by himself, staring at the angel. He turned around then back again and it was right on top of him looking pretty scary! Gave me the shivers! At first I thought it was going to be like Love & Monsters, but didn't turn out that way!

Like many others I read the short story which formed the basis of this episode, What I did on my Christmas Holidays by Sally Sparrow from the 2006 Annual and I loved it.
Was quite surprise when I found out that it became Blink on the TV series.
It is an excellent adaptation of the story. Like season 32's Love and Monsters [see my signature below] the Doctor only has a limited presence in it and Blink is a way better episode than that earlier episode. The suspense was gripping, the Weeping Angels very scary and it was funny when Larry was shocked that Sally only had 17 DVDs!

Some people post comments under the video on YouTube. Some have said that after watching this that they would never blink in front of a stone statue again. Com' on people, this is fiction! Nothing's going to happen! Or maybe they were just emphasizing how creeped out they were. Understandable.

Ok so I saw this episode last night on tv and I gotta say... I prefered Love & Monsters.
Yes you read that correctly. I watched this episode with the understanding that it was meant to be the best episode of the series, I unfortunately don't think it was the best. Yes this episode had some very funny moments and it was wonderfully shot, but it just wasn't as good as I had expected. By no means was it the worst of the series either.
Sally was a great character, but I'm confused as to why there was a huge fan base calling for her to be the next companion. I just don't think she could have lasted, but thats just me.
All in all a great story, but I was slightly dissapointed.
