Personally I'd have done a 5 tier star system, from 1 to 5, in which this would've gotten 4.49 stars, rounded to 4. Yes, I certainly liked it!

I loved it. It's very..... classic Dalek. Completely different to Parting of the Ways and Doomsday, but it's so much better.

Have you notice that this is the first time they have talked about Davros sinces the new season started??? They never said his name but you can tell there talking about him. I think RTD will bring him back next season sort of like this. The end of RTD the start of Davros.

Actually, I believe that an indirect refernce was made to Davros in the episode 'Dalek' when the Doctor was talking to Van Statten.

Finished with my DVD viewing of Evolution of the Daleks this morning. The commentary was by David Tennant, Nick Briggs and visual effects supervisor Barney Curnow. Very funny when Briggs introduced himself as Tom Baker! Later on when Tennant mentioned that Miranda Raison (Tallulah) is in Spooks, Curnow says that he likes the way that Tennant in his Scots voice says Spooks!

Saw a rerun of Evolution of the Daleks which concluded the story that began with the previous episode Daleks In Manhattan. Afterwards I saw my favourite bit with my wife Karen Gillan that of her in a bath in the TV movie that also had Manhattan in its title that of We’ll Take Manhattan which came in 2012 not long before her Doctor Who swansong the similarly named The Angels Take Manhattan.
The Daleks Manhattan story had the companion Martha played by Freema Agyeman and my wife Karen herself would also played a character called Martha in Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle.
