Well the episode has just been broadcast so the poll is now open for voting. personally I'd rate it 'Good'. Although I think too much material may have been crammed into a 45 minute episode and some of the lighting in the CGI shots of the Doctor and Martha on the balcony was a bit dodgy, on the whole it was pretty good. Well I'd better go and write a synopsis

I pass that hospital (known to me as Singleton Hospital) and it's never looked to good as in S&J. I'll vote....... good.

It was alrite the down bit is when the plasmavore went "I've got a straw." I mean what is the point of that why can't she just show her fangs and feast on mr stoker and the doctor but it can't be as violent because it's a kids show now if it was me it would've been like the first episode of torchwood when the weevil bites the hospital workers neck and all blood came out. terrific gore action!

Good overall, the Judoon should get their own CSI: Space series. The chemistry between The Doctor and Martha was superb and they were the stars of the show. RTD needs to sort out the huge plot holes.

It's was the best Doctor Who stuff I've seen for a long time. It was silly, it had big plot holes, but it was so much better than the overrated cybermen and daleks episodes.
It's very refreshing to have a new character that could be a match for the Doctor. I mean a companion that is able to think, analyse and react rather than scream or just try her luck...
I just hope they'll tone down Martha's family because they're simply annoying. I had to endure Jackie Tyler for two years, so I don't need another set of relatives. Doctor Who is a science fiction show around The Doctor and his travelling companions, not a sitcom focusing on a disfunctional family.

It was silly, it had big plot holes Ah yes, the key ingredients to a good Doctor Who story wouldn't you say? ;D

To be honest, I think they could have done better with this episode. I'm not sure why, it just didn't feel as though it were a good opening. Going with the crowd like a sheep, I vote a 4.

I enjoyed it, but as I said in another thread the whole radiation-shoe bit was just a tad silly even for me. But I enjoyed it and am looking forward to the rest of the season.
