Saturday 15th April 2006. 7.15pm. New Earth.
Thought I'd start a New Earth thread to discuss the episode when it's aired. Any comments please. What did you think? Don't read on if you haven't seen it yet.

Did any of you watch it? I thought it was very good. Full of humour and an interesting centeral premise. The scenes with Cassandra in Rose's and The Doctor's bodies sparkle and David Tennant is brilliant throughout the whole episode.

I thought it was excellent, but it does seem to have got some rather nasty reviews from fans and journalists alike. The only problem I had were the terrible lines between the Doctor and Rose at the beginning, about her loving travelling with him and about ther first 'date' on Platform 1. It's obvious they enjoy the each other's company, there's no need to keep reminding us because these lines sound so corny and out-of-place.

When I saw 'New Earth' on BBC ONE I found it very entertaining. Though I think they could've stretched it over two episodes. The finding the cure scene was a little bit too sudden. But overall good stuff!
