The World Tree is a special release of Short Trips and the winning entry in The Paul Spragg Memorial Short Trip Opportunity. Featuring the Eleventh Doctor. Released on December 29 2022 and written by Nick Slawicz. Read by Lisa Bowerman. This centres on an old woman Nora Wicker and she was at home when all the sudden the Doctor turns up. It is eventually established that Nora's home is in a Time Bubble and hence why the Doctor is there to deal with it. Ultimately throughout all this is quite a moving tale about Nora whilst the Doctor deals with the problem at hand and the story definitely has a lot of heart to it that makes it easy to warm up to. During The World Tree, The Archers gets referenced. The Archers also got referenced in one of Eleventh Doctor's TV episodes that of A Town Called Mercy. Curiously I read this on TARDIS Wiki: "The story has an unintentional reference to The Archers. Nora’s mention of the programme was written without Nick Slawicz realising that Lisa Bowerman, who would later be chosen as the narrator, appeared in it." Also on TARDIS Wiki, it says it was implied that the Fifteenth Doctor, who had yet to make his debut on television at the time of this story's release, had briefly turned up here. To be honest I didn't get a sense that it was the Fifteenth Doctor who had briefly turned up here.
