AWOL is the second episode of Volume 12 of Big Finish's Short Trips. Written by Angus Dunican. This has Jon Culshaw playing three characters the Third Doctor, the Brig and briefly Captain Munro from the Third Doctor's debut Spearhead from Space. I have long known that Jon Pertwee and Nicholas Courtney had passed but I had looked up on original Captain Munro actor James Breslin who sadly had also passed, in his case in 2009. This is set in the immediate aftermath of The Silurians which left the Doctor angry and appalled with the Brigadier blowing up the Silurians and the episode title refers to the Doctor doing just that. The Brigadier ultimately tracks down the Doctor in Peru and they have a long talk about the Silurians and their recent demise thanks to the Brigadier and the Doctor coming back to UNIT. Notwithstanding that they both played here by Culshaw,, this is a very good two-hander between the Doctor and the Brig as these are very beautiful moments with just the two of them. The kind of moments we never saw in the TV series as they are mostly surrounded by other people. I would even go far to say that this is the best two-hander that Pertwee and Courtney never had. While I wouldn't necessary say that I am a big fan of the Pertwee era. AWOL certainly reflects well from that era.

The Most Culturally Impactful Film Franchise of All Time: Season 4, Episode 7. Quite fun of Harley using a time sphere and meet her future self but what a devastating sight of Gotham that it presents. Harvey eventually returns to her own time but it is already too late to what went on in the future.
