Enemy Aliens is the eighth episode of Destiny of the Doctor by Big Finish/AudioGo which celebrated Doctor Who's 50th anniversary in 2013.
As this is the eighth episode it accordingly featured the Eighth Doctor as well as a cameo by the Eleventh Doctor who was then the incumbent Doctor.
Eighth Doctor actor Paul McGann however was not involved with this.
In lieu of McGann, this story is narrated by India Fisher as Charley in a two-hander with Michael Maloney as Hilary Hammond.
Written by Alan Barnes and released in August 2013.
Like the Sixth Doctor episode Trouble in Paradise, the Eleventh Doctor cameo takes place near the start of this episode but unlike all the previous episodes of Destiny of the Doctor, the Eleventh Doctor cameo turns up again later on here.
The Eleventh Doctor gives a message to the Eighth including to look out for enemy aliens.
This then sees the Eighth Doctor and Charley going to the streets of London's West End 1935 to find William Tell.
However it wasn't the legendary William Tell from the 14th century. It is instead the name of a performer on stage someone who has a plethora of facts in his head not unlike Mr Memory from The 39 Steps.
On seeing this act from William Tell, the Doctor tells Charley that there is no way that their fellow audience members would know whether Tell got anything wrong as they don't have Wikipedia to check against.
However it was funny when Charley then says that she hasn't heard of Wikipedia as she is from 1930!
Just as Tell was on stage, he is shot dead and this is when Hilary Hammond comes in.
Absolutely enthralling from here on in when it is revealed who this Hilary Hammond is.
An especially key point in all this is when the Doctor and listener found out what enemy aliens really as it is not really what it was thought to have meant.
It is a reference to a fact in the real world one on reflection I knew about before.
Fascinating on the resolution that got achieved.
Amusing the ending which technically could be considered a cliffhanger but not one anyone should worried about.
Enemy Aliens was especially enjoyable due to India Fisher's narration.
A high point to this narration was when Charley describes an invention of the Doctor's as it was very funny.
However it was tragic when she described what became of the boys the Doctor and Charley met just before they went to see Tell's act.
Rather akin to The Chase novelisation where it revealed what became of Morton Dill after meeting the First Doctor, Ian, Barbara, Vicki and a Dalek at the Empire State Building in 1966.
