The World Beyond the Trees is the season 7 opener of Short Trips from Big Finish.
Narrated by Nicola Walker (Liv Chenka).
Released in January 2017 and written by Jonathan Barnes.
This has Liv narrating story in a tape recorder to her father
The story concerned is set in 1972 when her, the Eighth Doctor and Molly were staying in Baker Street.
Liv tells her father about the Damascus Project as mentioned to her by the Doctor.
It was only after listening to The World Beyond the Trees, that this links to an earlier Short Trip with the Third Doctor, Damascus which I had not listened to.
Without knowing about Damascus beforehand, I did find The World Beyond the Trees a fascinating story to listen to with the account that Liv.
It especially prescient for the Doctor to tell Liv to listen to four knocks.
Liv's account culminates with her meeting an alien called Lilla and the strange atmosphere that she has noticed.
Not bad the resolution that this story provides.
