David Ashford has passed away.
Born on October 16 1941, Ashford appeared in Doctor Who in The Greatest Show In The Galaxy playing Dad.
Long before appearing in TV Doctor Who, he appeared on stage in the Doctor-less The Curse of the Daleks playing Bob Slater.
He was also in The Quatermass Conclusion playing Hatherley.
Other work included Strange Report, The House of Eliott & The Final Cut.
He died on December 17 2020 at the age of 79.
