Admitted 'The Christmas Invasion' not Series Two but let's include it. 'Love & Monsters', although contrived, some might like it (though I can't think who!). I'm withholding my vote until the finale's over.

I'm not voting yet but I doubt Doomsday will change my mind.

Might not be the way to do it, but I'm voting Army of Ghosts/Doomsday purely on the strength of Army of Ghosts.

'Army of Ghosts/Doomsday' for me. 'The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit' came in at a close second.

I can't decide, there were so many brilliant episodes but a few duffers as well, so I'll chicken out and say I don't know ;D

Hmm, I wish I never put that option on, it provides too much of an easy way out.

It`s split between the cybermen episodes. The last two get it the nod for the war between them and the daleks though

So I just saw The Christmas Invasion for the first time last night! I thought that it started a bit shakey, but it improved as it moved along. Mickey was great in this episode. I think that this 'Christmas Special' was the perfect way to introduce the new Doctor. It is my understanding that Christmas specials occur when a show is popular. I think that this should be a 'one-off' because now there is almost an expectation (due to 'The Runaway Bride) to have that extra episode each season. So we should now consider a season to be 14 episodes, not 13. Also if the 2006 Christmas special has no relation to Christmas, you have to ask why they put it there? I know it's a very british thing to have Christmas episodes but I just don't get it. But I was very pleased to watch TCI. (I am writing all this here because I could not find a TCI specific thread and I remember someone saying that David Tennant tried on a scarf when picking out his new clothes. If this is true, I am dissapointed because it must have been edited out to shorten the episode here in Australia )

He didn't try the scarf on, it was just visible on the edge of the picture.

You know, when watching that bit in the TARDIS wardrobe, I swear I saw one of the Third Doctor's previous outfits.

Looks like the producers of the show missed the chance to include past Doctor in jokes in the main body of the season too.

The whole thingis one in-joke, surely? From DT's manic grin (ref. to Tom Baker) to the Cybermen cutting through the plastic in "Ghosts/Doomsday" (ref. to "Tomb of the Cybermen")
