I'm not to sure about the new Cybermen design, i actually preferred the classic design from the Silver Nemesis. But, I'm sure it will grow on me

Looks a bit un cyberish to me. Mind you new show. RTD loves changing stuff. No more cricket gloves. Hooray.

The new cybermen were useless. Less scary than any Doctor Who monster ever. So obviously fake it was unbelievable.

Hmm, I don't know...
I personally prefer the old style cybermen better. Call me old fashioned but that's what I happen to think.
P.S: Have they gotten rid of their gold allergy yet?

I hope that in the future we'll see the return of "our" universe's cybermen, and back to the usual design we are familiar with.

Well lets be honest, they had to look less advanced than they pre RTD ones as they were first generation cybermen and I don`t think the cloth face approach from the tenth planet would work so there wasn`t a lot of directions they could take them. They looked ok and more importantly they were handled well. They were made to look a threat and not come of as lame. They also seemed more mobile

They seemed heavier too.

The whole "sympathise with the cyberman" sort of spoilt it for me. Should have seen a lot of them being blown up just like in the classic series (esp. in the five doctors). ;D
What happened to their guns?

My favourite design for the Cybermen was the one that premiered in 'Earthshock'. Oh, that reminds me I must send them a "Thank You" card for getting rid of Adric.

I really liked the new design for the Cybermen, I liked the way it was more metallic than previous designs and it was nice that there were still links to the Cybermen of the original series in the design.
