In An Adventure In Space and Time, Jemma Powell played Barbara Wright actor Jacqueline Hill.
This meant that in An Adventure In Space and Time, Jemma Powell not only played Jacqueline Hill but as her playing Barbara in the depiction of filming of Doctor Who in its early years.
The real Jacqueline Hill died back in 1993 and utilising the fact that she was played by Jemma Powell in An Adventure In Space and Time, Big Finish has decided to cast Powell to reprise Barbara for their Early Adventures range:
