Diary of a Dr Who Addict by Paul Magrs is a fictionalised account of what is like to be a Doctor Who fan through the perspective of David. Magrs provided a good account of David being dedicated Doctor Who fan even when his friend Robert who was a fan of Doctor Who but gradually drifted from it. As well as reading the book I also heard the audiobook version if it but has variations with the book such as the fact that one character has been replaced by another. From what I have been the audiobook I listened to is for another version of the book which Magrs had to rewrite as the original was too autobiographical. In any case Diary of a Dr Who Addict in whatever version one experiences it as is a reminder for all Doctor Who fans of what you have to go through life being a Doctor Who fan.
