Conclusion to The Rebel Flesh. The title of The Almost People made me think of The Tomorrow People. However whereas the Tomorrow People were the next stage in human evolution, the Almost People was a stage in human evolution. Matt Smith got to half reference himself when one of the Doctors called himself Smith but the first name was John not Matt in this the latest use of the John Smith name. Eew… seeing the discarded Flesh. Amusing when the Doctor says literally of the eyes having it. Shocking that Amy in the TARDIS is a Flesh leading to the cliffhanger. It took me until seeing the corresponding Confidential Cutdown to understand that the Flesh Amy had been around since the beginning of this season. The stunning cliffhanger has helped me to give The Almost People a higher mark than The Rebel Flesh.

Where the first part has a good set up, not great, but good, this one takes it completely off the rails, gets me bored, and confuses me as the Doc acts one way and then changes it. He's for ganger rights and yet he kills one. He gets two killed for no reason. The whole thing just didn't do it for me. Complicated, sily, and boring.

Doctor Who Confidential 6.6 Take Two, the corresponding episode to The Almost People when Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill talked about ideas for monsters and Arthur came up with loads of monkeys coming together like Power Rangers to become Mega Monkey. Funnily enough Karen later dressed up as a Power Ranger for a tie in video to her short-lived series Selfie. Later on with just Matt and Karen along with Ghost Tour Guide David Thompson they talked about the paranormal and Matt jokingly said that Karen is pretty paranormal. Well Matt is certainly right about that as Karen is paranormally beautiful and why she is my wife. At the beginning Karen says goes to the gym at night and that one can go to the gym at any time. Of course I have sex with Karen at any time.
Also in Take Two, Matt Smith said that Karen reminded him of Ginger Spice Geri Halliwell and she says that Geri is a hero of hers. Even though I was never really a Spice Girl fan, Geri always kind of felt like my favourite Spice Girl long before I came to completely adore Karen.
