Hello, I wrote these a long time ago, and wondered what you all thought of them. Feedback welcome, see what you think.
Return to Gallifrey
The TARDIS arrives on Gallifrey but the Doctor and Ace are surprised to find that the entire planet is deserted. No sooner do they enter the Panopticon, the time-travellers are attacked by a group of Daleks, who have been thrown into a time storm from many centuries ago and now find that their home world no longer exists. They are taken as prisoners aboard the invisible Dalek ship, where they uncover a dark plan to harness the power of the precious Eye of Harmony and use it to recreate the planet Skaro.
The Doctor manages to free himself and Ace and attempt to foil the plan. They beam down to Gallifrey where they discover the entire race of Time Lords held captive in a hidden ship abandoned on the planet thousands of years ago. The Doctor frees them and they work together to stop the Daleks. However, they fail to succeed and Skaro is duplicated. The Daleks leave but vow to return, and jettison a large amount of waste material onto the planet as a warning. The Doctor discovers that the material can be used as an alternative power source and agrees to take the Eye of Harmony onboard the TARDIS. He leaves with Ace on the tail of the Dalek ship.
Rebirth
The TARDIS lands on the newly resurrected Skaro, where the Doctor undertakes an investigation into the newly reformed planet, whist Ace remains in the TARDIS.
After finding the Dalek city, the Doctor wastes no time in forming a plan to trap the malevolent creatures inside. He begins to surround the exits from the city with high explosives, planning to trigger an explosion capable of sustaining them long enough for the Time Lords to take care of them.
However, before he completes his task, he is captured and imprisoned, and left to wait until the Daleks can put him to use. During his imprisonment however, he manages to send a distress call to the TARDIS, and Ace makes her way to the city.
Upon finding the Doctor’s half-finished work, Ace triggers one of the explosions and uses the incurring confusion to rescue the Doctor. Together they blow up the rest of the exits and manage to leave in the TARDIS unharmed, the Doctor then signals for the Time Lords, to deal with the trapped Daleks.
The Visitor
The TARDIS lands on Earth at UNIT HQ in the 21st Century, where they discover an unregistered space shuttle has come into orbit around the planet. The Doctor travels up to the shuttle and accidentally un-freezes a creature named Fren, last of the Decornan race, who holds the Time Lord hostage.
Fren has come to avenge his home world, which was partially destroyed by an Earth missile several years ago. He has travelled across the galaxy to destroy the planet but accidentally cryogenically froze himself when a malfunction occurred in the ship’s control bank, which also sent the ship off course.
The alien forces the Doctor to repair the ship so that he can fire a high-powered laser into the planet’s core, but the Time Lord manages to stall Fren and explains that his race was wiped out, forcing the erratic Decornan to set the ship to self-destruct. The Doctor escapes and then departs in the TARDIS with Ace.
Attack of the Cheetah People
Whilst alone in her room onboard the TARDIS, Ace is affected by the illness she contracted on the planet of the Cheetah people. She runs rampant through the ship and makes an attack on the Doctor. Before she can do any real harm the viral attack wears off and Ace pleads with the Doctor to find a cure, fearing she will harm him again unintentionally.
As requested, the Doctor sets about finding a cure to Ace’s illness and works alone in his laboratory, leaving Ace locked in her room.
Ace however, succumbs to the virus again and breaks free, before making her way to the control room. When she arrives, she begins to tear the circuitry of the console apart.
The Doctor succeeds in finding a cure and discovers Ace has escaped. He hurries to the control room but before he can save her, Ace rips apart a dangerous power line and is knocked unconscious.
The Doctor administers the antidote to his companion and nurses her to health, before reverting the TARDIS control room (and subsequent interior) to a secondary replacement.
Should I post Season 28?
Any comments greatly appreciated
Thanks, Dominic
