It is a shame that a lot of Patrick Troughton's stories are missing, thankfully Loose Cannon have made reconstructions of the ones that are missing, well worth checking out

telesnap are basically photos of the relevent stories put up against the audio tracks to that episode so as to create both an audio and visual experience of what the epsiode might have looked like They're about as close as you can get to actually watching the missing eps.

Are you sure? Because if that were so, they would have shown that particular story in Aus (a station has been going through all of them). I never got to see The Doctor pic his next face That was probably the result of d**n embargo Terry Nation's estate has on the BBC against showing the Dalek episodes of the classic series at present. Seems an awful shame to skip 10 episodes of The War Games just because they can't show a few seconds of a Dalek clip in the final episode, but the Nation Estate Dalek Litigation Squad knows no compassion.

My real answer is "All of them!" Even Enemy of the World. ;-)

I went for Power of the Daleks, it's such a shame Patrick's first story as the Doctor is no longer available. Still, we live in hope.

You never know they still may be descovered. the old episodes could be sat in an producers attic forgotten waiting to be shown again.
Well i live in hope anyway :-)

Fury From The Deep. Defo. The Audio is brilliant and it would be a fantastic DVD release.
P.S. Did you know that Fury From The Deep was destroyed by Sutekh when meeting with Graham Williams to discuss his role in Pyramids Of Mars. P.P.S. For above see Pyramids Of Mars DVD.

Alas, there's not "All of the above" category. It's not all bad, I guess, someone just gave me a box of about 60 novels from the 1970s and 1980s, including all of Troughton's TV stories except one. That should keep me busy for a while.

I was just thinking, what if all the missing episode turned up in my attic (or anyone else's for that matter!)? Wouldn't THAT be hideously ironic!

When I voted I chose 'The Evil of the Daleks', though in reality I'd have liked an "All of them" option. Just a pity so many from the 1960's are missing.

Following the release of 'The Invasion', I wonder if they will animate any of the other missing episodes of these stories?... Though that will probably depend on the success of 'The Invasion'

I wonder what things would be like if all of the missing episodes never went missing in the first place?

Following the release of 'The Invasion', I wonder if they will animate any of the other missing episodes of these stories?... Though that will probably depend on the success of 'The Invasion' It'd be nice to see a few more releases with animated episodes, and if the BBC do go ahead with it I'm sure they'll look at stories such as 'Reign of Terror', 'The Tenth Planet' and 'The Ice Warriors', which only have one or two episodes missing. But as you say it'll depend on how the animation on 'Invasion' is received,
